Hanoi –  Hanoi motorbike tour and Hoi An cooking class have been selected by readers of US travel site Tripadvisor as
two of the 25 best travel experiences in Asia.

The half-day guided motorbike tour in Hanoi
allows tourists to explore Vietnam’s capital city’s famous landmarks like Long
Bien Bridge, Hai Ba Trung Temple, the Presidential Palace Historical Site and
try some of the city’s best street foods.

As part of the tour, visitors will have an
opportunity to explore “Train Street”, formed by railway tracks
running alongside Dien Bien Phu and Phung Hung streets in the heart of Hanoi’s
Old Quarter, with residential buildings just a few feet away on either side.

Meanwhile, the five-hour cooking class, organised
by Hoi An Eco Tours Discovery, is considered a fun and interesting way to experience the rural
life in Hoi An, a popular tourist destination in Vietnam’s central Quang Nam
province, and Vietnamese cuisine.

experience a bamboo basket boat tour in Bay Mau nipa palm forest. After such eco-tour activities, they will be welcomed in the restaurant and participate in cooking around 2 hours with the chef.

On top of the list is Thai and Akha Cooking

Local’s Home in Cambodia’s Krong Siem Reap and sunrise tour of Angkor Wat.

This year, an Amsterdam open boat canal
cruise was the world’s best travel experience.

Domestic tourism enjoying strong recovery

Published

on

According to the Vietnam Tourism Association, a year after Vietnam’s economy reopened after the COVID-19 pandemic, about 90% of hotels and accommodation providers and 70% of food service establishments and transport companies have resumed operations.

Domestic tourists are busy traveling from North to South.

Travel demand appears to have exploded.

Most Vietnamese are choosing to holiday in Vietnam.

Authorities and tourism businesses took the initiative in building a strategy to attract tourists as soon as the pandemic was under control. A number of large-scale cultural and tourism events have been held since the end of last year.

Catering to over 100 million tourists last year, the domestic tourism sector has been a lifesaver for the industry. Rising domestic tourism has led to strong growth in transportation, warehousing, food and beverages, and wholesale and retail, and is gradually returning to pre-pandemic levels./.
